RAD Faction: An alternative media project.
This project does not claim neutrality. Our activism is from a position of refusal.
We do not believe in objectivity when the state abuses power against its people; when it uses its unlimited resources to attack, gaslight, cage, kill and otherwise undermine its people.
Our work is partisan: we stand with the criminalised and against the systems that harm them.
We are the co-founders and co-editors-in-chief of this platform: two writers, activists, strategists and organisers documenting and resisting state violence. This project exists to write and educate against the carceral state, in opposition to abuse of prisons, police, and punishment, and to refuse the myth of safety through state sanctioned violence.
We document harm the state insists is necessary and tell the stories it works hardest to erase.
Our politics come from proximity, not theory. We write and disseminate information in alignment with people the state works hardest to silence, disappear, and discipline.
We are co-conspirators in this radical project. This is not neutral work. We are paying attention.
